Aliceville Mayor informs City Council that additional $113,000 is needed to make it to end of fiscal year

The Aliceville City Council held their Council Meeting on  July 24th at 6 p.m. at Aliceville City Hall.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Marva Gipson.  Councilman Terrence Windham held the opening prayer.  The minutes from the previous meeting were approved by the council members.
There was no old business presented during the meeting.
The first item of new business was that Chief Tonnie Jones will be attending a conference in Orange Beach from July 29, 2019 until August 1, 2019.  Gipson asked for a vote to approve Jones attending this conference.  The motion passed with a unanimous vote.
Mayor Gipson then informed the Council that the town has had some additional expenses this year and will need to obtain a bank loan of $113,000 to $125,000 to make it until the new fiscal year.
