Board of Education Receives Audit Report

The Pickens County Board of Education held its November meeting Monday, November 14, 2022, at Central Office. Chairman Annie Jackson called the meeting to order. All Board members were in attendance. Following the invocation and Pledge of Allegiance, the Board voted to reinstate Board Member Annie Jackson as the Chairman and Board Member Sam Wiggins as the Vice-Chairman.
The first order of business was to approve the agenda, and it was done with a motion from Board Member Gene Dawkins and a second from Board Member Dr. John Brandon. The minutes were approved with a motion from Board Member Sam Wiggins and a second from Board Member Dawkins. A motion was made by Board Member Dr. Brandon, and a second was made by Board Member Wiggins to approve payroll, and it was approved.
