Shaaron Jacobs Vaughn, age 61, of Vernon, AL passed away on December 6, 2024, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Memorial services were at 11:00 am Monday, December 23, 2024, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Keith Nightingale officiating and Skelton Funeral Home directing. Visitation will follow the service at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Gerald Gregory Jacobs. Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Rodgers (Kenny), Kristin Conaway, and Jamie Ballard; sisters, Gwen Howard (Ken), Sue Russell (Hilary), Carol Andrus (Scott), and Geraldine Coan (Michael) and five grandchildren, Noah Koger, Kelci Koger, Dakota Conaway, Dalton Conaway and Layla Ballard. Shaaron was born January 29, 1963, in Macon, Mississippi to the late Gerald Jacobs and Sarah Gregg Jacobs. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Pilgrim Rest Cemetery, c/o Jean McBride, 15689 Hwy 17, Aliceville, AL 35442.
