There will be a regularly scheduled meeting of the West Alabama Regional Commission Board of Directors on June 28 at 11:45 a.m. in the Conference Room of the West Alabama Regional Commission, Building One, 4200 Highway 69 North, Northport, Alabama.  Presiding will be Glen Allen Mayor and Chair of the Board of Directors of the West Alabama Regional Commission, the Honorable Allen J. Alabama 200 Bicentennial and Pickensville 13th Annual Pre-4th of July Fireworks Celebration


The Town of Pickensville and Pickensville Community Affairs will be hosting the Alabama 200 Bicentennial and Pickensville 13th Annual Pre-4th of July Fireworks Celebration on July 3. Law Enforcement and First Responders Dementia Friendly Training


The West Alabama Area Agency on Aging is offering a free Dementia Friendly Training course. The course is designed to teach law enforcement and first responders how to interact with individuals who have dementia, as well as their caregivers. Registration Required by July 18.
