Doris Johnson Langdon, 90, of Reform, passed away January 18, 2021 at UAB West in Bessemer. Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Hassler officiating. Burial followed in Graham Memorial Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. A short visitation immediately followed the service at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Gideon Langdon, Jr.; her parents and brother-in-law, Carl Russell. Survivors include her daughters, Karen Parsons (Bruce) of McCalla, AL and Kathy Gurganus of Reform, AL; son, Edwin Langdon (Kathy) of Pensacola, FL; sisters, Rose Marie Russell of Carrollton, AL and Elaine Latham (James) of Reform, AL; brother, Harold “Sonny” Johnson (Jean) of Huntsville, AL; two grandchildren, Alison Cain (Josh) and Evan Langdon (Ashley) and two great-grandchildren, Jackson Cain and Zach Cain. Doris was born July 25, 1930 in Reform, Alabama to the late Floyd and Estelle Carpenter Johnson. She was a homemaker and member of Friendship Baptist Church. Honorary Pallbearers were Rev. Glen Kennedy, deacons and members of Friendship Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Friendship Baptist Church, P. O. Box 189, Reform, AL 35481.
