CARROLLTON- Bob Sellers and Friends Christmas Homecoming was held December 16, 2022, on the Courthouse Square in Carrollton. The town was decorated beautifully, and the cool weather made it feel like Christmas as Bob Sellers entertained everyone on the steps of the old courthouse.
“It’s amazing as always,” said Bob Sellers. “This little town never disappoints. It’s like being in a Hallmark movie. You know one thing that makes Carrollton unique is they have the Christmas Mayor. Mickey goes all out. The town rolls out the red carpet for Christmas and for this. I appreciate it so much. It’s a totally free event for the community, and it is my way of giving back.”
Sellers and others performed Christmas music while the town served free refreshments to people who attended the concert. Other performers included Shannon Knight, Reverend Melvin Mordecai, Matt Winters and part of the Legacy Quartet. Mayor Mickey Walker gave rides to children and adults alike on the Christmas train in Carrollton that night, and it also snowed to put everyone in the Christmas spirit. Many attended the event and seemed to enjoy themselves.
