South Lamar 43 Gordo 29
On January 5th, the Gordo Green Wave played host to the South Lamra Stallions. The Green Wave Offense could not get anything going in this game as the Stallions defeated the Green Wave 43-29. The ball just would not fall for the Green Wave, and South Lamar took advantage.
Winfield 69 Gordo 50
On January 6th, the Gordo Green Wave traveled to Winfield to take on the Pirates in an Area game. The game didn't go in the Green Wave's favor as Winfield took down Gordo 69-50. The Green Wave got a good game from Kristian Summerville as he put up 27 points on the night, but it wasn't enough.
