WHEREAS the Alabama Legislature at its 2022 Regular Session enacted Act No.
2022-041 (HB154), which ordered an election to be held on a proposed amendment to
the Constitution of Alabama of 1901 relating to Pickens County, Alabama; and
WHEREAS notice of this election, together with the proposed amendment, is
required by law to be given by proclamation of the Governor, to be published once a
week for four successive weeks preceding the date appointed for the election in each
