Aliceville Public Library to Host Art and Craft Exhibit

Arts and crafts that will be featured at the event include seasonal wreaths by Megan Pratt of Carrollton.

Aliceville Public Library and the Alabama Bicentennial Commission are co-sponsoring an Art and Craft Exhibit as part of the 200th birthday celebration of our great state of Alabama.

Local artisans and craftsmen will showcase their beautiful handcrafted items.  Each artist will have their own table display.  We will have live demonstrations of some of the artwork and crafts.

This will be an interesting and educational event that focuses on Alabama southern culture and history.

There will be a variety of mediums and art expressions such as wreathmaking, photography, painting, pottery, dressmaking, quilting, weaving, yarn spinning, wood working, taxidermy, ceramics, jewelry design, and more.

Admission is FREE and open to the public. Elementary Schools are especially encouraged to come to view this one - day exhibit.

The Aliceville Art and Craft Exhibit will be at the Aliceville City Hall Auditorium on 419 Memorial Parkway in Aliceville, Alabama on Oct. 18, from 9 am until 4 pm.
