GORDO - The Monday, January 4, 2021 Gordo Town Council began with Mayor Craig Patterson calling the meeting to order with council members Jerome Duff, Floy Goode, and Tim Washington in attendance.
STREET AND SANITATION REPORT
The first item discussed was regarding the repair of a natural gas fuel station for the street and sanitation department, which powers the garbage trucks.
“It has the capability to slow fill and that’s what we need,” Street and Sanitation Supervisor Toby Kelley said. “Every day we just plug it up and it fills overnight and you don’t have to be in a hurry or anything. We’ve just had some trouble as of late (using another fuel station)."
