Board of Education Receives Above Average Score from Cognia Visit

LADOW-The Pickens County Board of Education meeting was held March 16, 2022. Board Chairman Annie Jackson was not in attendance. Vice-Chairman Sam Wiggins called the meeting to order. After the invocation and the Pledge of Allegiance, Superintendent Jamie Chapman asked the board to amend the minutes to include an item to approve the CNP grant bid. The board approved the amended agenda on a motion from board member Gene Dawkins and a second from board member Frankie Spencer. The minutes were then approved on a motion by Spencer and a second by board member Dr. John Brandon.
