Debra Abston and Kimberly Posey Receive Mission Volunteer of the Year Award

Debra Abston and Kimberly Posey, who attend Highland Baptist Church in Gordo, recently received the Mission Volunteer of the Year Award at the Alabama Baptist Convention Meeting at Eastern Shore Baptist Church in Daphne, Alabama. Each year the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions selects a Volunteer of the Year. It is someone who has participated in volunteer mission opportunities on four different levels - in their home county, in their state, in North America, and internationally. This is based on Acts 1:8. Nominations are made from all over the state of Alabama.
