South Lamar 45 Gordo 37
The Gordo Lady Wave took on South Lamar on Monday, December 9th, but came up short against the Stallions 45-37. Gordo outscored the Stallions 13-8 at the end of 1st quarter. In the 2nd quarter, the Stallions came back to outscore Gordo 15-10 as the game was tied 23-23 at the half.
Winfield 49 Gordo 19
On Tuesday Decem- ber 10 the Lady Wave traveled to Winfield to take on the Lady Pirates. The game didn't turn out the way they had hoped as Winfield took down the girls 49-19.
Carbon Hill 37
Gordo 34 (OT)
The Lady Wave opened up their first home game with a tough loss in overtime to Car- bon Hill 37-34. The Lady Wave never gave up after being down at the half.
