Reform Police called for report of shooting

Shots fired on Fifth Street Southwest

PICKENS COUNTY-Reform Police were called to a residence in the 300 block of Fifth Street Southwest at 5:30 p.m. Sunday on a report of a shooting.
Upon arriving they found two men deceased in the driveway. It appears they died from gunshot wounds. Officers with the Aliceville, Carrollton and Gordo police departments responded to the scene to assist.

 

Aliceville man shot and killed on Jasper Road

Aliceville resident Brandon Peoples was shot to death on Sunday, May 31, at a residence on Jasper Road in Aliceville.

Aliceville resident Brandon Peoples, 28, was found shot and killed early on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at a mobile home on Jasper Road in Aliceville.
Police have a person of interest, but the investigation is still ongoing. No arrests have been made in the case as of Friday, June 5th.
Police stated that Peoples’ girlfriend owns the home where his body was discovered. Aliceville Police Chief said the shooting was being investigated as a homicide.

One person is left dead following an officer-involved a shooting in Aliceville on Friday afternoon. Aliceville Police Chief Tonnie Jones said that the incident began after a vehicle was reported as being stolen, which led to a chase involving the suspect and two Aliceville police officers, along with a Pickens County Sheriff ’s Department officer.
