H.E.L.P., Inc. is applying to the Alabama Department of Transportation for Operational, Administration, and Capital Assistance award under 49 U.S.C. Section 5311 of the Federal Transit Laws. This grant funding will provide financial assistance for public transportation services for the residents of Pickens County.
The service is provided for the general public and currently operates Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. All residents, including mobility device users, must schedule 24 hours in advance. Fares range from $1.00 to $10.00 per one-way trip. No service or fare changes are planned for FY2025.

This grant funding will provide federal financial assistance for Administration, Operational, and Capital Expenses. Capital funding will be used to purchase 1 Transit Mini Van and office equipment.
