Whereas, The Building Inspector of the City of Aliceville made a report to the City Council of the City of Aliceville, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A, setting forth the costs of $8,150.68 for the demolition and removal of the structure located at 111 Mobile Road Aliceville, AL (the "Property"); and whereas, the Council finds that the costs set forth in Exhibit A were reasonably incurred in the demolition and removal of the structure on the Property and desires to assess the costs against the Property; and whereas, the Council has heard and/or has provided an opportunity to hear from any person, firm, or corporation having a interest the Property that has an objection to the fixing of such costs of demolition and removal.
Therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, The City Council of the City of Aliceville that the sum of $8,150.68 is hereby assessed against the property located at 111 Mobile Road Aliceville, AL. These cost shall constitute a special assessment against the Property, and shall constitute a lien on the property for the amount of the assessment.
