Yellow Jackets Defeat Tigers 58-54

This much-antici- pated game will be on Friday, December 2, 2026, in Greene County, Alabama. The encoun- ters between the Yellow Jackets and the Tigers have consistently been pivotal moments in our local athletic calendar, characterized by intense, yet honorable, competition and a powerful demonstration of community solidarity. The Aliceville Yellow Jackets, led by Head Coach Michael Johnson, have the team press all game long against the Running Greene County team. The first quarter was tight and low-scoring, end of the first Quarter 11-12, Tigers. In the Second Quarter, both teams scored 12 points; Half Greene County Tigers. The 3rd Quarter, both teams pick up the pace with Aliceville Jr. guard Santonya Stewart hitting two long threes (3s) 

End of 3rd Aliceville 41, Greene County 40. Ok The Fourth Quarter was Good old west Alabama Basketball. Each team trading basket and leading by 5 points or less, but the Aliceville Yellow Jackets Coach Michael Johnson strategy prevailed with Victory 54-58. Yellow Jackets scoring’s Santonya Stewart 18, Tibaous Storey 16, Zaid Caddell, and Jeremiah Clark each have 10 points. December 8th, the Yellow Jackets play at Home Against TA.
