Deacon Joe David “J.D.” Simmons of Aliceville, AL, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026. Visitation will be on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 5 pm to 6:30 pm at Lavender’s Funeral Service. Funeral service will be Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 11 am, at Dancy First Baptist Church, Aliceville, AL. Interment will follow the service in Magnolia Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
