Locations in Pickens County available for COVID-19 vaccines by appointment or walk-in

Gentry Drugs staff (left to right) Tricia Lavender, Ashton Brite, Carly Ezell and Phil Gentry have been working to administer COVID-19 vaccines each Tuesday at Gentry Drugs.

BY BRIAN HAMILTON Managing Editor brian@pcherald.com COVID-19 vaccines are more readily available in Pickens County that ever, with a number of healthcare providers and pharmacies offering free vaccines. Appointments can be made to get the vaccine at Gentry Drugs, Dr. Robbins and Dr. Parker’s office in Aliceville; Dr. Boothe’s office in Reform, or the Pickens County Health Department in Carrollton. “We started at the end of February and as of today, we’ve given close to 1,200 total,” said Phil Gentry of Gentry Drugs.
