Pickens County Commission approves for June 20th as Juneteenth holiday.

CARROLLTON-The Pickens County Commission meeting was called to order on June 14, 2022 by Chairman Jerry Fitch with all commissioners present.
Mr. Ron Bolton and Jill Noland was present in the audience. There was no public comment from citizens or from elected officials.
After the roll call, invocation and pledge of allegiance, the commissioners approved of the consent agenda with a motion to approve by Commissioner Mark Gray and seconded by Commissioner Drew Elmore.
Moving onto new business, the commission moved to approve the “Insolvents, Errors and Taxes in Litigation for 2021 and Uncollected Insolvents and Taxes in Litigation for Previous Years” and to authorize the Chairman to sign. The motion was approved by Commissioner Bobby Bain and seconded by Commissioner Bobby Ingram.
