Aliceville Council Signs Resolution for Constitution Week

ALICEVILLE- The Aliceville City Council meeting took place on September 14, 2022. Mayor Terrence Windham called the meeting to order.
    The council approved the minutes of the last meeting.
    The meeting began with new business, where the council approved the parade permit for Aliceville High School.
    Next was a special event request for Wofford. The council approved the request.
    A motion was made to sign the resolution to proclaim September 17-23 as Constitution Week. The council unanimously accepted the motion, and the resolution was signed.
    The next item in new business was adjusting the Municipal Business License Fee from $12 to $14. The council motioned to approve the adjustment. The increased fee is scheduled to begin on September 1, 2023.
