Carrollton Baseball Registration in January

CARROLLTON- The Town of Carrollton held it Council meeting on January 5, 2023. After the invocation and the Pledge of Allegiance, the minutes were approved with a motion from Councilman Chuck McDaniel and a second from Councilwoman Terisa Robbins. Councilman Freddie Lowe then made a motion to approve the bills, and Councilman Sherman Mayhew gave the second. Councilman Phillip Trull was not in attendance.
USSSA baseball registration is January 21, 2023, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the ball field. Cody Estes is in charge of it. The Mayor is hoping Carrollton can have some ball teams to use the park. The sign up fee is $125.00 per child, and the check should be made out to the Town of Carrollton. The age divisions of the teams will be 5 and 6 year olds, 7 and 8 year olds, and 9 and 10 year olds.
“We would love to see that area get used,” said Mayor Mickey Walker. “We will have to do a little more work on the field. It won’t take much for us to get it back up to par.”
