Memphis-Dancy- Cochrane Fire Station Caught Fire May 8, 2023

The Memphis, Dancy, Cochrane Fire Station caught fire and burned up in the early morning of Monday, May 8, 2023.

"My understanding is a passerby saw the building on fire about 4:30 Monday morning and called 911," said Keith "Booty" Cox, President of the County Fire Association. "The cause of the fire is still under investigation."

The Fire Station was a complete loss, but nobody was injured in the fire.
