It all began on Sun- day, May 14th when the nursing home held its annual Mother’s Day Tea. The female residents of the nursing home were treated to a manicure and given a special gift.
The kick off for the week was held on Monday, May 15, 2023. There was a balloon lift and a reception. Mayor Terrence Windham visited the residents and presented them with a Proclamation declaring it Nursing Home Week. Residents of Aliceville Manor enjoyed playing Bingo that afternoon. Bingo is one of their favorite pastimes.
The Chick-fil-A van and cow came to the nursing home for a visit on Tuesday, May 16, 2023. The residents and staff were treated to a delicious lunch from Chick-fil-A. The staff dressed in clothing from their favorite decade, and a decade dance party was held in the afternoon.
