Car Show Well Attended in Carrollton

The 7th Annual Pickens Baptist Association‘s Classic Car and Truck Show was held on the Square in Carrollton on Saturday, April 12, 2025. The car show was held on a beautiful spring day and had 47 vintage vehicles on display this year. “I can tell we have had more cars this year,” said Lyle Dease, Director of the Pickens Baptist Association. “Part of the reason is because some places in Tuscaloosa are not having theirs this year. We are excited. We love having Carrollton Baptist here that serves lemonade. We have cookies that the ladies at Aliceville First Baptist Church give out. We will give out free lunches soon, sponsored by the Pickens Baptist Association. We are always happy to have Faith Riders who come all the way from Tuscaloosa, bringing their motorcycles, sharing the gospel, and Terry Billings as well.”
