Kathy Hedrick Ammons, age 66, of Northport, Alabama, died June 25, 202,5 at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Funeral services were 3:00 pm Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Dogwood Chapel in Aliceville with Bro. Sam Delaney and Bro. Rodney Hedrick officiating. Burial followed in Franconia-Oak Grove Cemetery in Aliceville with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation was one hour prior to the service at Dogwood Chapel, 200 5th Street NW in Aliceville. She was preceded in death by her parents, C. J. Hedrick and Doris Dean Hedrick Woods, and niece, Shannon Moore. Survivors include her daughter, Ashley Delaney, and husband, Sam of Northport; sister, Jeannie Hendrix (John) of Ethelsville; brothers, Rodney Hedrick (Brenda) of Carrollton and John Hedrick of Pickensville; and three grandchildren, Ronan Delaney, Teagan Delaney, and Farryn Delaney. Kathy was born January 24, 1959, in Aliceville, Alabama. She was a member of the Christian faith and a retired clerical worker. She was a 1977 graduate of Carrollton High School and received a secretary of science degree from Bevill State. Kathy was a loving grandmother who adored her three grandbabies. Pallbearers were Gary Moore, Cody Lucas, Tyler Lucas, Sam Delaney, Joey Bussey, and Joseph Hedrick. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial to Hospice of West Alabama, 3851 Loop Road, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404.
