Carrollton to change speed limit on Hwy. 17

CARROLLTON - The Carrollton Council meeting was called to order by Mayor Mickey Walker on January 7, 2020. All council members were present.
The minutes for December 3, 2020 were approved by the council. The bills were also approved to be paid.
The first item on the agenda included the discussion of one of the water trucks being sent to get fixed in Tuscaloosa.
“The transmission started messing up about a month ago,” Walker said. “It’ll be about $140 to get it fixed. For right now we don’t have any updates on it. We just sent it about a couple days ago.”
Walker mentioned that he hopes that the problem is minor and nothing serious.
Walker discussed the request of installing a speed bump on Robertson Ridge.
