Doris Marie Kelley Simpson Keasler, 84, of Reform, passed away January 18, 2021 at her residence. Funeral services were 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Trey Kelley, Rev. Ray Aldridge and Rev. Damon Rose officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Tabor Baptist Church Cemetery in Palmetto with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.
She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Jerome Simpson; her parents; brothers, Delane Kelley, Hal Kelley, Roy Welch and an infant brother and son-in-law, Kenny Kyles.
Survivors include her daughters, Bonnie Crowe and Vonda Robertson; like a daughter, Cathy Kelley; daughter-in-law, Pam Simpson; brother, James Harold “Bubba” Kelley; sisters, Peggy Sullivan and Ruth Watts; like a sister, Charlene Minor; father of her children, Robert Lewis Simpson, Jr.; five grandchildren, Whitney Wilson, Ashley Robertson Fife, Stephanie Keasler, Dustin Simpson and Dallas Simpson; five great-grandchildren, Faden Fife, Bella Grace Fife, Dalana Simpson, Abel Simpson and Knox Simpson; two step-grandchildren, Stacey McDaniel and J. R. Kyles; four step great-grandchildren, Lawson Bledsoe, Grayson McDaniel, Kenndy Kyles and Layken Kyles and four special kids in her life, Jennifer Rozzelle, Jonathan Rozzelle, Brodie Crowe and Tyler Irvin.
Doris was born March 17, 1936 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late Mervin R. and Avie Lou Cooper Kelley. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and was employed at Lamar Manufacturing and Country Miss for 31 years.
Pallbearers were Steven Sullivan, Glen Kyles, Jimmy Massey, J. R. Kyles, Dustin Simpson and Dallas Simpson.
Honorary Pallbearers are Michael Cooper, Gary Kelley, Keith Bledsoe and Amedisys Hospice.
