The hereinabove named wells were previously classified as shut-in. The shut-in status was extended by the Board, by Order No. 2022-36, issued on September 15, 2022, and such status is due to expire. Petitioner now understands that the subject wells should be classified as temporarily abandoned and, therefore, requests the Board to approve temporarily abandoned status for said wells for one year, pursuant to Rule 400-1-4-.17(1) of the State Oil and Gas Board of Alabama Administrative Code, as said wells have future utility and should not be plugged.

Petition by LAND AND NATURAL RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT, INC., an Alabama corporation, requesting that the State Oil and Gas Board, pursuant to Rule 400-1-4-.17(1) of the State Oil and Gas Board of Alabama Administrative Code, extend the temporarily abandoned status for the Leslie Williamson 1-5 #3 Well, Permit No. 15387-A, located on a 320-acre wildcat drilling unit consisting of the North Half of Section 1, Township 19 South, Range 14 West, Pickens County, Alabama, and approving temporarily abandoned status for the Joe Cook 27-12 #2 Well, Permit No. 15988, located on a 40-acre wildcat drilling unit consisting of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 27, Township 18 South, Range 14 West, Pickens County, Alabama, and the Winters 19-5 #1 Well, Permit No. 5459-A, located on a 40-acre wildcat drilling unit consisting of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 19, Township 18 South, Range 14 West, Pickens County, Alabama, as said wells have future utility and should not be plugged.
That the Board, by Order No. 2022-38 issued on September 15, 2022, extended the temporarily abandoned status for the Leslie Williamson 1-5 #3 Well, and extended the shut-in status for the Joe Cook 27-12 #2 and the Winters 19-5 #1 Wells, and such status is due to expire. Petitioner now understands that the Joe Cook 27-12 #2 and Winters 19-5 #1 Well should be classified as temporarily abandoned and, therefore, requests approval of temporarily abandoned status for these wells.

Petition by LAND AND NATURAL RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT, INC., an Alabama corporation, requesting the State Oil and Gas Board to enter an order extending temporarily abandoned status for the Ferguson 35-12 #1 Well, Permit No. 17296, located on an 80-acre production unit in the South Coal Fire Creek Oil Field consisting of the West Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 35, Township 18 South, Range 14 West, Pickens County, Alabama.
The Board, by Order No. 2022-39 issued on September 15, 2022, extended the temporarily abandoned status for said well, and such status is due to expire. Petitioner requests the Board to extend temporarily abandoned status for said well, pursuant to Rule 400-1-4-.17(1) of the State Oil and Gas Board of Alabama Administrative Code, as said well has future utility and should not be plugged.

Petition by LAND AND NATURAL RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT, INC., an Alabama corporation, requesting the State Oil and Gas Board to extend shut-in status for the Shelton 17-8 #1 Well, Permit No. 4326, located on a 320-acre production unit consisting of the East Half of Section 17, Township 18 South, Range 14 West, Pickens County, Alabama, in the Coal Fire Creek Field.
The Board, by Order No. 2022-44 issued on September 15, 2022, extended the shut-in status for said well, and such status is due to expire. Petitioner requests the Board to extend shut-in status for said well pursuant to Rule 400-1-4-.17(2) of the State Oil and Gas Board of Alabama Administrative Code as said well has future utility and should not be plugged.

Petition by LAND AND NATURAL RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT, INC., an Alabama corporation, requesting the State Oil and Gas Board to extend the temporarily abandoned status for the A.R. Mack 13-12 #1 Well, Permit No. 12022, located on a 320-acre production unit in the Woolbank Creek Field consisting of the West Half of Section 13, Township 20 South, Range 16 West, Pickens County, Alabama, in accordance with Rule 400-1-4-.17(1) of the State Oil and Gas Board of Alabama Administrative Code.
Petitioner further requests that the Board approve temporarily abandoned status for the W.B. Robinson 11-15 #1 Well, Permit No. 4761, located on a 320-acre production unit in the Woolbank Creek Field consisting of the South Half of Section 11, Township 20 South, Range 16 West, Pickens County, Alabama, in accordance with Rule 400-1-4-.17(1) of the State Oil and Gas Board of Alabama Administrative Code.
The Board, by Order No. 2022-45 issued on September 15, 2022, extended the temporarily abandoned status for the A.R. Mack 13-12 #1 Well, and extended the shut-in status for the W.B. Robinson 11-15 #1 Well, and such status is due to expire. Petitioner now understands that the W.B. Robinson 11-15 #1 Well should be classified as temporarily abandoned.
The jurisdiction and authority of the Oil and Gas Board is provided in Section 9-17-1, et seq. of the Code of Alabama (1975) as amended.
The public is further advised that, pursuant to this hearing, the applicable provisions of the Code of Alabama (1975), and the State Oil and Gas Board of Alabama Administrative Code, the Board will enter such Order or Orders as in its judgment may be necessary in accordance with the evidence submitted and accepted. Hearings of the State Oil and Gas Board are public hearings, and members of the public are invited to attend and present their position concerning petitions. Requests to continue or oppose a petition should be received by the Board at least two (2) days prior to the hearing. The public should be aware that a petition may be set for hearing on the first day or second day of the hearing or may be continued to another hearing at a later date.
