Gordo wins tough game against Northside 27-13

REFORM - Gordo faced its toughest test of the season Thursday night at G.S. Spruill Stadium in Reform, where the Greenware have been playing their home games this season due to repairs to their football field.
Gordo got on the board first in first quarter, capping a 10-play, 43-yard drive with a 17-yard touchdown pass from Tanner Bailey to Izayah Edwards.
Northside would tie the game up in the second quarter when quarterback Braden Green ran for a 1-yard touchdown run with 6:04 left in the first half. The 17-play, 73-yard drive ate up more than 12 minutes of clock.
The teams were knotted up at halftime 7-7.
