Commission Approves Agreement with Alabama Community Department of Economic and Community Affairs

CARROLLTON- The Pickens County Board of Commissioners meeting took place on January 24, 2023. The meeting was called to order by Commissioner Jody McGee as Vice-Chairman. Chairman Jerry Fitch was not in attendance.
The meeting began with a public comment from Jimmy McDaniel as he raised concerns about a  culvert near his home that has been stopped by beavers and filled with water. The Commissioners agreed to have someone come clear the culvert.
A motion was made by Commissioner Jill Noland and seconded by Commissioner Nancy Ray to approve the consent agenda.
