Gordo Elementary School has once again partnered with the American Heart Association. The American Heart Association’s mission is to help individuals live healthier lives and to live a life free of cardiovascular diseases and strokes. Heart disease is the number one reason for deaths in America with strokes ranked number four. This year GES raised $7,163.00 and met our goal with ease due to our stakeholders and our community. We would like to thank everyone for making our Jump Rope for Heart event such a success this year, and we look forward to participating again next year.
