Pickens County High School Hosts Meet and Greet for New Principal and Assistant Principal

REFORM- On August 14, 2022, Pickens County High School held a Meet and Greet for their new Principal Lee Richardson and Assistant Principal Robert Byrd. Richardson announced that the new motto for the school would be ‘turning obstacles into opportunities.’ The men’s families and many of the school’s faculty gathered to celebrate the new positions.

PCHS Receives Grant from Alabama Power

Pickens County High School was awarded a $2,500 Power to Play grant from the Alabama Power  Foundation on Tuesday, Mar. 13. Thomas Hargrave, PCHS band director, said the grant will be used to purchase instruments for the music education and band programs at the school.
