Pickens County officers presented with Life Saver Awards

Carrollton Police Officer Derrick Jones (left) and Pickens County Sheriff’s Deputy Dana Elmore (right) were honored on Tuesday with Life Saving Awards for their role in saving a two-week old infant who was not breathing.

Sheriff’s Dept. makes drug arrest in Stansel

STANSEL - Sheriff Todd Hall announced that on Friday October 2, 2020 Deputies of the Pickens County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at 1322 Stansel Circle, Reform, Alabama. This search warrant culminated a month long investigation into drug activity at the listed address. During the search Deputies found Methamphetamine, Marijuana, and an assortment of controlled substances including illegal prescription medications packaged for individual sale.
