Commission Approves Units as Surplus

CARROLLTON- The Pickens County Commission meeting occurred on January 10, 2023. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Jerry Fitch. Commissioner Drew Elmore was not in attendance.
A motion was made by Commissioner Jody McGee to approve the consent agenda. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Jill Noland, and it was approved.
The meeting began with new business, where Commissioner Nancy Ray motioned to reschedule the January 19th Administrative Meeting to January 24th at 9:00 am and the Commission meeting from 6:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Commissioner McGee seconded the motion, and it was approved.
Next on the agenda was to prove the purchase of two printers for the Revenue Commissioner’s Office and two computers for the Appraisal Office, a cost not to exceed $8,000. This cost includes the cables and software, not installation. Commissioner Noland made a motion, seconded by Commissioner McGee, and it was approved.
