The Aliceville Yellow Jackets ran out the clock and won the game 15-14. This brought their record to 3-3 for the season and will play their homecoming next week against the Yellow Jackets of Vincent their record is 4-1.

The Yellow Jackets from Aliceville made the 53-mile journey up the road to face off against the Knights of Tuscaloosa in a football match. Excitingly, both teams have maintained perfect records this season.

The Aliceville Yellow Jackets lost their 2nd game of the year to the Bears of Sipsey Valley. It was the Bears' Home- coming, and they started off quickly in the 1st Quarter. Two touch- downs in the first and 4 more in the second quarter made it Yellow Jackets 0, Bears 41 at Halftime. In the second half, the Aliceville Yel- low Jackets scored twice and an extra point, but the Bears pre- vailed 55-13. The Al- iceville Record is 1-2 for the season, but op- ponents for the Yellow

On October 21, 2023, the Aliceville High School Class of 1983 celebrated their 40th Year Class Reunion. This event was held at the Aliceville City Hall. There were 34 participants.
During the event, former teachers and the principal gave words of encouragement. Those in attendance were Mr. Willie J. Thomas, Mrs. Annie Phillips, Mrs. Glenda Hodges, Mr. Detrick Hodges, and the principal, Mr. Herbert Lavender. Class President Melanie Clark-Harmon gave an inspiring speech that was enjoyed by all in attendance.

The Pickens County Board of Education held its monthly meeting at Aliceville High School on February 22, 2023. The meeting was called to order by Board President Annie Jackson. All Board members were present.
The Pickens County Board of Education met on Tuesday, July 23, 2019. The meeting began with prayer and remembering Pat Irvin's family in prayer.
Mr. Irvin was a long time employee of the Pickens County Board of Education and served the county as a Vocational Agriculture Teacher. The agenda was approved.
The new Beginner Band for Aliceville High School with Band Director Thomas Hargrave and Principal Fred Young.

Aliceville High School has revamped its band program this year. Students in seventh, eighth, and ninth grades have been learning to read music since August. Now, those students can put what they have learned into practice on brand new instruments.
