REFORM - The Reform City Council meeting was called to order by Mayor Melody Davis on February 2, 2021 with all council members present.
The minutes from the last meeting of January 25, 2021 was approved by the council as well as the payables.
The first item on the agenda in old business included the council’s approval of the September 30, 2020 audit given by Don Wallace.
The audit was given on ways to improve costs and income increase for the city of Reform.

The Reform City Council began their meeting on Tuesday, April 16th with Mayor Bennie Harton calling the meeting to order. Under old business, Harton discussed the fountain and lamp post installation. He also mentioned that Brandon Garrison was the genius behind the lamp post installation and it was all thanks to him and a few others.

The Reform City Council began its bi-weekly meeting on February 19 by going over old business regarding a lease agreement for a local business. The lease agreement was concerning Asia Criswell looking to rent the old city hall building to relocate her business, Asia’s Salon.

The Reform City Council made decisions regarding two properties in the city at the council’s first meeting this month, held August 7. Mayor Bennie Harton and the city’s building inspector went to a mobile home which had been so neglected, “We were afraid to go in,” Harton told the council. “The door was open, but trees had grown to the door so, we really couldn’t enter the building.”

During the last couple of city council meetings, Reform city council members have had zoning issues brought to their attention. One of them, brought to the council on May 15, was from Dearl Hughes, who wanted to rezone a strip of land currently zoned as residential, but having commercial properties on either side of it.
